摘要：Let G be an additive nite abelian group and S = g_1,g_2,\cdots,g_l be a sequence over G. Let k(S) = ord(g_1)^{-1}+ \cdots+ord(g_l)^{-1} be its cross number, and let \sigma(S) = g_1+\cdots+g_l\in G. We call S a tiny zero-sum sequence over G if \sigma(S)=0 and k(S)\leq 1. Recently, the study on tiny zero-sum sequences has attracted a lot attention. In this talk we will present some new results and open problems in this direction.
報告人介紹：高維東，教授，現(xiàn)就職于天津大學應用數(shù)學中心。他1994年從四川大學獲得博士學位，導師為孫琦教授。1994-1998年他先后于大連理工大學應用數(shù)學系和奧地利格拉茨大學數(shù)學系從事博士后研究。他的主要研究興趣在組合數(shù)論中的零和理論，1996年他建立了兩個著名組合課題Davenport常數(shù)和Erd?s-Ginzburg-Ziv定理之間的基本聯(lián)系，從而將這兩個原被各自獨立研究的課題統(tǒng)一起來。這一結(jié)論被同行在公開發(fā)表的論文和評論中稱為基礎(chǔ)性結(jié)果（a fundamental result）和漂亮（beautiful）的結(jié)果，并指出其已眾所周知（well known）。目前已發(fā)表學術(shù)論文100多篇。
