主講人簡介：
Raymond Chan: 香港中文大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系教授, 著名計算數(shù)學(xué)專家, SIAM Fellow (2013),
World Innovation Foundation Fellow (2004), 馮康科學(xué)計算獎(1997), Leslie Fox數(shù)值分析獎(1989)等獎項獲得者。2004, 陳教授被列為世界數(shù)學(xué)領(lǐng)域論文引用率最高的250人之一。他和著名數(shù)學(xué)家丘成桐教授在香港創(chuàng)辦了Asia Journal of Mathematics并擔(dān)任主編。同時，陳教授還是SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing, Journal of Scientific Computing, Numerical Linear Algebra with Applications, Advances in Computational Mathematics, International Journal of High Speed
Computing, Advances in Decision Sciences, Computing Reviews, Advances in Numerical Analysis, Advances in Computational Mathematics, Journal of Mathematical Research and Exposition, East Asian Journal on Applied Mathematics, Journal of Mathematical Finance等國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊的主編或編委。他曾發(fā)表百余篇高水平學(xué)術(shù)論文, 應(yīng)邀于20多個國家作了超過100次的大會邀請報告。
袁曉明：本科就讀于南京大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系,博士畢業(yè)于香港城市大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系,曾于University of Victoria, University of British Columbia Okanagan,上海交通大學(xué)(安泰經(jīng)濟與管理學(xué)院)等院校就職。2008年,袁博士入職香港浸會大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系, 現(xiàn)為香港數(shù)學(xué)學(xué)會秘書。袁博士曾在Mathematical Programming, Numerische Mathematik, European Journal of Operational Research, SIAM Journal on Optimization, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, SIAM Journal on Imaging Science, SIAM Journal on Scientific Computing,SIAM Journal on Matrix Analysis and Applications, Mathematics of Computation, Inverse Problems, Journal of Scientific Computing, IMA Journal of Numerical Analysis, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Imaging Sciences等國際期刊發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文50余篇。目前袁博士的研究興趣是最優(yōu)化算法、變分不等式理論與互補問題、統(tǒng)計學(xué)習(xí)以及圖像處理等領(lǐng)域。
